Personal history
Queen Gabriel is one of the triplets of King Kushim IV's children. She's technically the "eldest" triplet so she was the heir to the throne. Gabriel showed great potential at a young age when it came to her knowledge and her magic. She was very close to her siblings, Princess Zora and Prince Kushim and would often play in the palace gardens, sitting their the peonies and lilac flowers. Shorty after Gabriel was crowned queen, she fell madly on love with a noble man from the dark kingdom. They got married a few months after they met (the first red flag) but did not have any children. Princess Zora and Prince Kushim did though, Princess Zora had a daughte who later became Queen Zora and kushim also had a daughter named Daria who later became Deidamia.
Gabriel happy marriage wouldn't last however as she later caught her husband with another women and found out he only married her for her royal status. They got divorced and, to make matters worse, a rebellion started and her siblings died during one of the battles. After the funeral of her siblings, she headed to the gardens where her siblings and her used to play and sat down next to the spot they used to sit, near the peonies and lilacs. She was never same after her siblings death. Gabriel adopted her nieces, Zora and Daria and vowed to look after them and protect them, for her siblings. She loved them both dearly but did show secret favouritism for Zora due to her intelligence and magical ability.
In 882 AD, when Daria turned evil, Gabriel tried to reason with her but she was killed in the process. A statue was built in her honour. Gabriel's spirit went on to help Jessica, Johnathan, Ruby, Jack and Dove in their mission to defeat Deidamia.

Even she uses the nickname Gabriel, a boy's name, she is actually a cis girl.

Mental Trauma
After her getting her heart broken and especially after her siblings death she was never the same. She suffered from severe guilt and nightmares of the rebellion. Her nieces were a consent remainder of her failure to protect her siblings. Gabriel also never got married after her divorce in fear of getting her heart broken again.
