Wylden
The Wylden are a rugged and hardy folk that originally arose in what is now northwestern Abhagan. For many centuries, they lived a mostly pastoral life and worshipped the Súðárín gods of life and nature.
When The Godswar began, and the previously seclusive Nostín appeared to safeguard Creation, many of the Wylden answered their call to aid in the War. These were thought by their kin to be lost after the Cleaving separated the island of Hrafnawyld from the mainland of Abhagan, and for over two centuries the two kindreds grew apart, until they were re-united in the late 3rd century ATC in Flýttírwylden, or the Migration.

Family names
The Wylden use a patronymic/matronymic naming system, usually indicated simply by saying "daughter/son of..." (ex. Bjón son of Genhar, Sæga daughter of Brenne). These lineages are nonetheless very important to the Wylden, particularly in the case of the Old Families, or Árklenen, from the original three Jórveifen (Ravenfjords, Black Mountains, and Icewall Glacier)
The Old Families (Árklenen)
When the Nostín called upon the ancient adherents of the Súðárín to join them in fighting The Godswar, many of the mightiest of the Wylden answered the call and journeyed north into distant, unclaimed lands. After the Cleaving sundered the island of Hrafnawyld from the continent of Abhagan, those who remained behind on the mainland thought their brave kin lost forever, and would so believe for over two centuries. During this time however, those Wylden who survived The Godswar became the foundations for the new nation of Hrafnawyld, and are known as the 'Old Families'. Among some of the most notable of these are:
Klen Heiggíren(Black Mountains)- Descendants of Heiggír the Ravenfriend via his twin Half-Raven daughters, Æsja and Káranne
Klen Þeinneren(Icewall Glacier)- Descendants of Þeinne daughter of Heiggír the Ravenfriend, who fought in The Godswar and after became the first Jór of Ísvalðjökull (Icewall Glacier) Jórveif. Until 483ATC, known as Klen Svarthammur, or the Blackhammer Clan, for the ancestral heirloom of their family, the Blackhammer
Klen Hákkenrín(Ravenfjords)- Descendants of Hákken son of Heiggír the Ravenfriend, who fought in The Godswar alongside his father and elder sister Þeinne, and after became the first Godhammer and Jór Hrafnafjorðen (Ravenfjords)
Klen Þórenrín(Ravenfjords)- Descendants of Þórenn son of Þerulf, a noted battle leader in The Godswar who gained a reputation for bravery and courage in the Night Terror. Sæga Hrafnárí claimed kinship with Klen Þórenrín
