Old Iris

She woke as a child, age 4, at the steps of an old temple, sealed by a magic force field. She was later found wandering in the Purple Forrest by foraging Elvin couple looking for Magic Mushrooms, and potion ingredients for their shop. They end up adopting her. Her new Mother and Father are Phira and Sylfaren Ravenbrook, respectively. She was raised in the small town of Dawnvale. Her parents believe she is just human, but she knows she is different, although she doesn't know what she is. When Iris sleeps, she rarely dreams if ever. But when she does, its nightmares of being tormented, tortured, and in great fear for her life. When she was 10, her family was trading with a Traveling Merchant, and who offers fortune telling. Iris gets a reading and learns she is from another plane. One of dreams. And that she is spirit bonded with the a Quori, making her a Kalashtar. A rare and noble race. "Your pretty special, Princess" he says to her before leaving. Since then, Iris is obsessed with finding out more about the Kalashtar, and she fully believes she is royalty. Her small town offers no knowledge for her to learn about her race, where she comes from, soul bonding, about her dreams, or her royal heritage. She travels south to Feyholt. There she studies everything she can of planes, magic, learning about Altua, the goddess of Glory, Pride, and Nobility. She makes a pact with Altua to learn magic as a Warlock. Iris learns that another Kalashtar has been rumored to be in the city of Sword Coast. She takes all her family's money without their permission, and travels via Air Ship from Feyholt to Waterdeep and then to Gigfaldihr. Then travels to Sword Coast via carriage. No one knows of a Kalashtar, who they are, or of the plane they come from. They might know inside the Grand Archive. But they don't just let anyone in there. She learns that the Adventurer's Guild members get access, so she joins up to earn her way into the Archive.

In Feyholt, she studied topics of the planes, magic, deities, and a few languages.

She used to help run her parents Herbalist Shop in Dawnvale before leaving and joining the Adventure's Guild.

Almost died from a wolf attack because H.K. 462 wanted to pet the puppy.

She wants to learn about the Kalashtar, where they come from, and her royal bloodline.
