Wan, Extinguished of the Coast

Wan is a gaulan of the Daijin ethnicity, lean and rugged, with salt-sprayed hair and eyes sharp from years of training. At age 36, he carries the weight of two decades trapped in the old mountain settlement, where he and Sarvin laid to rest a fallen hero amid marigold gardens, the Rites of Merkayne. The Markaynains were allowed to live amongst the frost elves once they sealed Gökstad, some allowed it because the Enclave assisted the elves and turned on the crown, making them just as sought after by the Church of Dhara. Others sought the Merkaynians presence as extra guards or kept the, there as they did not trust them to keep their hidden home a secret.   He first rose to prominence following the Snowpeak Genocide, when he followed Arcus Sheerfall in the effort to save the frost elves. When he finally emerged from the mountain, news of his deeds, protection of innocents—reached ears even distant from Blackstock. He’s driven by duty: the contracts he takes (like the one to protect the Gnomes of Nak) are less about pay, more about honour. He lead the Ivorian faction up until the Destruction of Barakek where he was slain by Incinerin, who had become an avatar of Vlox, Merkayne’s sworn enemy.   Wan wears weather-leather marked with the symbols of the Merkaynian Enclave, after his death he was granted the title of “Extinguished”, the highest rank a Merkaynian can recieve as they are honoured in death.       A leader of a squad of Merkaynian Enclave members.   A young man when he followed Arcus Sheerfall as he fought against his banners to save the frost elves of Snowpeak.   Wan fought alongside a demonspawn who also helped fight against the Mooncrest Marauder and Barren Blackcherry.   Trapped inside the ancient mountain settlement for some odd 20 years, Wan and Sarvin burined the Merkaynian hero and laid his body into a garden of Merigolds.   When Wan got out, he was instantly sought out by Tursin and Magdalyn because they heard about what he did to save the elves.   211 5E (Age 36) Sarvin, Wan, Maggie and Tursin find the hidden village of Nak in the Mooncrest, a task they were set upon by Addikus Windslayer. As they could not find leave the forest gnomes how they were, beaten and homeless, they officially gave their contract to the Shatterbrand. The gnomes were first occupied by the Kingfishers and then attacked by the dragon awakening. As long as the Shatterbrand delivered the Dragonlance to Addikus, the Enclave would protect the Gnomes of Nak. A member of the Shatterbrand asked about his mother, who he knows is a member of the Enclave. A draken woman known as Daedra is next in line to become Byycon.     Town (Nak) is being destroyed by a Red Hag. Along with 2 kobolds and 2 drakes. Groups of civilians are being killed. Dragons do not understand draconic. When a family is about to be roasted, 4 green tower shields block the flame. The Merkaynian Enclave has arrived.   Wan, Tursin, Sarvin and Magdalyn.   Tabby’s family is dead, chirs was being recruited by the kingfishers, they purchased a prophet from the desert to help manipulate people into joining. For Chris they told him that Arygos killed his brother, fueling the flames on their recruits hatred of dragons. With more attacks happening its easier to gather new followers.   Tursin turns into a bear in the day, has cape pants.   Magdalyn calls half elves halfies.   Sarvin in untrusting to the party.   Wan agrees to the terms to take the gnomes of Nak to Eidon.   The Enclave cannot continue on their mission with the people dying. Wan thinks they should complete it and get paid and then they can peacekeeper. Sarvin tells how the people come first and they need to delay the mission.
