Valkyrie

In the wind-ripped steppes of Valhedge, the Valkyrie are legends of battle amongst the Tundran natives. They disappear in blistering snow only to arrive at the onset of battle, draped in hunted furs and bearing the runic carved armour of their kin. Mounted on frosted polar bears and draped in plumage of icy blue, they ride the northern gales for the Tundran Varks—not as messengers, but as heralds of fate.   Each Valkyrie carves sigils in the air with her spear, guiding caravans, herding clans, and wraithing past enemies with a cry that echoes against glacier-etched peaks.
