Thorian

8 ft tall. died defending his people at the Battle of Snowpeak. Barren Blackcherry's men killed most of the frost elves as well as the Church of Dhara   Thorian rose from the glinting ridges of Gökstad like glacier-borne steel, his 8′ 1″ frame draped in snow-white furs and pale-blue mail that shimmered in the frigid dawn. His spear, its head carved from trapped winter-ice and tempered in the flame of a aelfe-forge, glowed faintly green whenever he moved into battle. At his back hung the crest of the Issvaroan Elves—three frost-drops arranged like wings against a storm-sky.   In 194 AHM, when the war-horn of Blackcherry’s men thundered across Snowpeak, it was Thorian who held the gate-pass at Gökstad. His shout echoed over the howling wind: not fear, but defiance. He fought against the Church of Dhara’s priests and the clan shield-maidens of the hired Mooncrest Marauders, their banners shivered in ice-gale winds. Though cut off and outnumbered, he stood until his final breath. The snow swallowed him, but his people remember his last stand.   Villagers still whisper of the giant aelfe whose spear cracked like thunder on black ice, whose howl rallied shields and bowed the invaders. They say the wind carries his voice across the frost-grave—“Stand firm.” In the count of Snowpeak’s dead, he is one of many but one that refused.
