Strife

Strife moves through the fungal haze of Eidon’s mudpits. Her white-painted sigils glow faintly against obsidian flesh, drawn in sacred lime and the marrow of offerings. Once a war-leader beneath Pyrus during the Hearthic Invasion, she tore through the Gaulan lines with flame-born fury—now her battles are quieter, fought in prayer and rot.   The Fester of Foulrot rises behind her, its walls slick with moss and offering jars. Batgoblins kneel before her, whispering invocations to decay as Strife lifts her hand, fingers gnarled and charred from old magma wounds. The god Ful’Rak speaks to her in the hush between breaths, promising renewal through ruin.   Cut off from her homeland and her kin, Strife wears exile like armour. What others see as rot, she calls grace. Every corpse that feeds the bog, every fungus that blooms from bone, is another hymn in her endless devotion to Ful’Rak.         Badlands shaman who invaded Gaul with Pyrus during the Heathic Invasion. After the war was over, she settled in the back corners of Largie, unable to get back home after the Hearthen retreat. Recruited by the mercenary group known as the Shatterbrand to join the budding island settlement. Became the shaman of the Fester of Foulrot temple.
