Skywarden

The Skywarden is a rank that balances spirituality with martial prowess, serving as both a protector of Shoreez’s sacred places and a symbol of her power in the mortal realm. These warriors wield the wind itself, channeling Shoreez's gift into swift, devastating strikes and defensive barriers. Their armour is a marvel of craftsmanship, forged from light but resilient metals and adorned with intricate carvings of swirling winds and cloud patterns. Thin plates of silversteel are layered with enchanted skyglass, a translucent material that reflects light in hues of dawn and dusk, making them appear as if cloaked in shifting sky.   Skywardens are trained in both combat and the spiritual rites of the Nymbus Orden. Their weaponry often includes wind-infused glaives, spears, or curved blades that whistle as they cut through the air. They are tasked with defending the Aetherium and smaller shrines, as well as escorting high-ranking members of the Orden, such as the Cirreth and Altivec, on pilgrimages.   Skywardens practice meditative combat forms, channeling Shoreez's winds to enhance their agility and reflexes. In battle, they summon gale-force winds to disarm foes, deflect arrows, and scatter opponents. When performing their duties, their very presence evokes a sense of calm and reverence, as the air around them seems to carry the faint scent of rain.
