Pyrographer

The Pyrographers connect with the Sun Tree and carve small runes into the roots of the world tree, the trees roots twist and carve through clay and rock over centuries. Certains runes line up over decades and when a root naturally uncovers itself in the world, the runes are deciphered as prophecies and messages from the gods in the outer planes.   This task is integral to the faith of the Solarion Seers who guard the Carthureagus and the Sun Tree.   Pyrographers do not know the future events that will be discovered by their writings, only that they carve beneath the World Tree into young roots , hoping their symbols will guide someone who needs it generations from now.   A root could be uncovered for years, slowly twisting and revealing new phrases and characters. Only when the runes light up a fiery orange, usully waiting for the exact person nearby to discover the message.   Some factions like the Seekers guard off uncovered roots to decipher prophecies before they are revealed, with hopes of learning something about the world before it is too late.
