Paco

Paco was one of many that joined the Kingfishers after his village was destroyed by dragons. The faction recruited people who either sought revenge or wanted to help.   None of the new recruits knew that the monastic dragon hunters were using scales of Synapsid refined into crystals to either enrage or subdue to these weakened beasts who just awoke after more than 700 years.   Paco was just another foot soldier who was handling the relocation of refugees that were gathering in Barakek. Paco was kind hearted and interacted with the Shatterbrand once they made their way into the Sealed city.   He swore that the Kingfishers were only there to do good even if the Shatterbrand did not trust them. Paco was tasked with giving out a ceremonial phoenix egg to all the refugees.   His leader Incinerin betrayed the people who grew to trust him as he was being manipulated by Vlox, god of corruption. The dragon attacks were orchestrated by his inner circle to gather as many souls inside the Merkaynian stronghold with the intent on sacrificing them all to Vlox to increase his Harrowed army while also weakening Merkayne.   Paco delivered the last egg when they all started glowing emerald green, snuffing out the warm orange light. Each egg exploded, killing many and eroding the very foundation to the city built in reverence to the god of strength and honour.   Many died by green fire and were brought back as revenants loyal to Vlox. Incinerin had fully succumbed to the whispers in his head had become mad with power. After a long battle, the Shatterbrand defeated each member of the Kingfisher Roost. Some were saved but much more were lost in the Destruction of Barakek. Paco was one who now follows Vlox as an undead revenant, a black boned Harrowed fighting for corruption.
