Orolio
Orolio leads the people as the Tombking Regent, his job is to enforce the will of the leader of Calua while they are away on official duties. A Royal Mediator is vetted to ensure the person taking the role has no thirst for power and understands their important job within the Hierarch.
Orolio wears the headdress of Sirocco, a formal peice of ceremonial wear that symbolizes their position. The two veins of the Caluan Desert are the religious and financial branches. It is up to the Royal Mediator to decipher what both the Apostle of the Moon and the Oligarch wants and deliver that opinion to the Tombmonarch, giving the best middle ground if the two are at odds with one another.
Many of the petty squabbles brought to the Xyg'Akaal Temple are handled by Orolio. This is why many see the Mediator as a regent as they spend their time handling such matters when the ruler does not want to do the mundane tasks.
The Royal Mediator only answers to the Tombking and is seen on equal footing as the Apostle and the Oligarch, although they have no faction to claim as their own besides their dedication to the Hierarch of Calua.
