Nord Ice-Break
Nord is the faithful ally of Orich Frigidbeard. He is an ice dwarf of the Bërg Verki with a well trimmed short beard with muted blues mixed with white strands.
He is a commoner who gained the trust of the Jarl Chief during the Third Northern War. A particularly frigid wind came down from the Ayre Lands and froze the waters all the way down to Echose on the Mainland. The Ice Dwarves are well suited to the vold but this freeze happened as the naval forces of the Great Hold fought against the Tundran Varks led by the House of Verki and their Jaagr.
Nord was a fisherman for many years and the dwarves were landlocked seals as the boats couldnt move and the Yergralffe gauls marched towards their fleet oberthe ice. Dwarves are sturdy and surefooted but lack speed in open fields. Nothing stood between these two armies except vast distances of empty ice.
This very well should have been the end of the Hovikön but Nord took this crew, his ice breaker ship and gwo days of work with no sleep to shatter the ice between the forces. The days a battle on the frozen ice would have occured, the Verki soldiers met the edge of cracked ice and open sea. Orich and his forces had escaped into the Trench of Harhan to live another day thanks to the icebreaker Nord.
Now Orich Frigidbeard seeks counsel from the lowly fisherman Nord to get a better grasp on how the commonfolk are in the Great Hold of Oriclan,
