Mutineers of the Pacuran Civil War

In the nation of Pacura, it is seperated by Nine islands who govern themselves but trade amongst their neighbouring Stormbloods to ensure the survival of all. The poorest of the Nine were often taken advantage of by the strongest 3. Zephyr, Gyaron and Typhon were known as the Fleet, the Builders and the Army, respectively. Over many years of threats and shady deals, these three had grown great wealth and privileges.   This unbalance was what led Kindra to organize the first meeting of the poorest Stormbloods, as well as allies of their cause. They sought to stop the hoarding of wealth and allow every Pauran to live comfortably, not just the ones lucky enough to have been born the larger three.   Morty and Flint were recruited as known pirates, able to disrupt the searoutes of the Zephyrn Fleet. Kindra and Ivan, Stormbloods of Pacura and royal blood, gained the partnership Diggory and Winella, cutting of farm and fish from the Typhon Army. Finally Magnus and Guimond, who together could put Lyna at bay with their collective power.   A tense war began as islands fought on open sea as well a land. A years long stalemate had bgun, with the big three being much stronger but the combined efforts of smaller islands holding true. A rumour began to spread that Thresh of Typhon had secured an artifact that would change the tide of the war. Kindra battled her cousin near the Sundered Lands rying to take his weapon away, she almost succeeded. Unfortunately she was betrayed by her lover Flint, who killed her and retrieved the item, swapping sides and gaining favour amongst the Pacuan elites.   Years passed and conflict simmered, the smaller islands were forced to accept unven deals while being occupied by Typh, Gyari or Zephyrn forces. Morty and his Crew continued being a menace to the ruling islands.   The weapon was ancient and took time to fully unlock its power. Thresh held a meeting amongst his elite to show what it could do. The Stormbloods bickered over this potential power and a fight ensued. Many were killed and Flint once again showed his true colours, he stole the artifact and disappeared into the night.   The Civil War simmered out, not in a final battle but in a small cave where the powers in control could not get over their greed and snuffed themselves out.       “They say it was Kindra Kyrest who lit the fire,” muttered the old deckhand, his fingers tracing rings into the ale-soaked table. “One storm night in Pacura, she stood on the prow of a half-sunk ship and called the crews to her. Spoke of taxes that fed the armies of islands weakening us, of fat merchants in their stone keeps while we died on the waves guarding their coffer.”   The tavern hushed as he leaned closer. “She gathered the smaller islands into a band of Mutineers, not just thieves, nor pirates. Rebels.”
