Mimic
Malicious creatures who skulk in built settlements, they can shift their form to replicate common household objects with the intent to feast on unsuspecting passerbys. They take the form of anything from wardrobes to wells to door frames. They are practically imperceptible and can wait for weeks until their prey is alone.
The form takes on the texture and colour of the replicated object but the feel is always a little cool and bright vibrant colours are hard to match so they often are caught by being slighty less saturated.
