Manta Mount
The Merelves do not build ships—they ride the sea itself. Strapped with seal leather harnesses and kelp-braided reins, the Manta Mount glides beneath its rider like a living sail. Its wings stretch wider than a trawler’s mast, and each slow beat pushes water with the force of a storm. In war, these great mantas scatter enemy boats by slipping beneath their keels, striking upward with their massive bodies to splinter hulls. In peace, they are silent companions, ferrying Merelves across open waters faster than any oar could row.
