Magnesium

Magnesium is a light, silver-white metal found in Galfin. It is a relatively common element that can be found throughout the realm, but it's not highly valued. Alchemists in Galfin view Magnesium differently and see potential uses for it in alchemy due to its ability to ignite and create intense heat. It's reactive nature make it difficult to handle, but also useful for alchemical reactions that requires high heat. In Galfin, Magnesium is used in creating incendiaries, to create flame, in smelting and purifying other metals, and in other alchemical preparations that requires intense heat. It's not commonly used in trade or crafting due to its reactivity and instability, making it hard to handle and store. However, it could be used as a component in creating flares or as a tool in mining and smelting operations.
