Elementalist.
Jairad keeps to himself, and most in the Melrin District prefer it that way. He walks with a kind of restless irritation, as though every stray noise is an inconvenience. His robes are scorched, frozen, or dusted with grit depending on whatever experiment he last attempted. When he shapes a familiar, he doesn’t utter a word as he snaps his fingers, and the air folds in on itself until a small creature of wind clawed its way free. Earth, fire, water, or storm, he commands each with the same curt precision.
He brushes off conversation unless it involves technique, and even then he answers as if he’s doing the listener a chore. Despite that, the Guild tolerates him; his familiars scout alleys, roost on rooftops, and slip through cracks where no apprentice could. His attitude may sour a room, but his elemental craft is unmatched.
