Hyphaeyna

Here they meet a disabled daijin girl who uses kinalite and chain links to walk, science powered by magic. Her exoskeleton of chains has some gnomon markings on it.   She has been working on a mechanized arm, but the use cases are minimal, she intended it as an aid for surgical work. The arm is designed to have all the subtle movement of a gaulan hand while being able to hold tools in place for a doctor. Anvil and Rudelf speak, he will not pass favour onto any of the candidates to succeed his brother.   Rudelf is a tough person to speak with, he is very stoic and hard to appeal to. Rudelf listens to Hydyna of the Inventors, tells Anvil how she wishes she could help, her prosthetics are still a work in progress and need to be tested further. She points to her own legs, unable to solve her dilemma.   Rudelf pulls from his satchel a tapestry that he recovered from a destroyed church in Raven’s Crest.   This material is hard to come by and its properties are mostly myth. It was said that the Shroud of Eisyn could mend wounds, it was tied around soldiers bodies in ancient battles and allowed them to carry on in the name of life.   Hydyna uses her artificer knowledge and magical learning to wrap the Shroud around anvils, armless shoulder and her metal prosthetic. She then uses a piece of kinalite to charge up her creation. It is slow at first but Anvil is able to move the individual fingers of the arm and Hydyna looks on in glee.   Rudelf leaves Xarus and Anvil, he is riding for Odyssey's Rest (a castle with a legendary ship flipped upside down now used as the roof to a longhouse) to complete a job for the Lord there.   Helped build a vault in Arboran to house the Death Seed. Young prodigy   Her two adopeted gnome fathers lives in their workshop in Cliffshire.
