Church of Dhara Proclamation of 212
To be delivered to all temples, churches and places of worship that fall under the protection of the Church of Dhara.
By order of the prophets of the Scholomance, the Grand Pontiff Solomon Sanctus, the Highking Regent Silvar Tung and the Oracle Council of the Seekers.
All jurisdicton held by the delivered holy Deacon must abide by this here declaration or be stripped of their title, their deed and their place amongst the brothers and sisters of the Church.
It is with this proclamation we are informing our Deacons that the the Dharan Priests are mobilising to station at our Churches and Temples in the outer regions of the Joint Armistice Lands, beginning with the Ivorian Heathlands and the Echose Marshlands. We have activated the Order of the Red Blade to bring Dhara’s true justice to those that seek to destroy our faith with chaos and heresy. Each battalion of priests will be led by a Steward of Faith. All Deacons must work to accommodate these knights with all the capabilities of your network.
A moment in history is often overlooked but we ask you to pray on this small passing of time. We must first have disruption so that order can prevail. As long as all remain obedient and peaceful, little blood should be had. The Highking Regent has agreed with our counsel scribed by our Conduits. Our settlements have become disparate and alone, squabbling over resources and fending off godless raiders. Communities should find safety in hardship but they are left alone to whither. The Dharan faith knows how to take care of it’s own. The other so-called faiths are what is tearing our peaceful lands asunder.
Their twisted magic and worship of lesser gods have brought dark times upon us. In our lifetimes we have seen the ogres of Vargen secede from our Union under the warring savage deity Foulrot. We have seen the spiritual fanatics of the north war with the frost dwarves peacefully trying to hold onto their ancestral land. Our Dwarven allies must be protected, not only because of the Pact of Prosperity that built our cities but because they are true followers of Dhara, having renounced their Dwarven gods of stone and fire. The Arch Viscount of the Dwarven Viscourt, Altas Sheerfall has approved our mission. We also have the forces of Remus Silverstaff, Oracle of the Seekers. His Proctors will be joining our Priests to ensure the safe collection of the dangerous artefacts the closing of these lesser deity temples and cults will uncover.
Our mission is clear, under the orders of the highest ranking members of the State, the Faith and the Arcane. We permit and honour all priests working towards our goal of a peaceful land to denounce outside faiths by any means. We are allowing our soldiers the jurisdiction to clear and seize any church, temple or holy site of a heretic worshipping false idol. All followers of other faiths will be offered baptism at our temples, a chance to renounce their false idols and begin their life anew within our church. Those that resist will be dealt with by the Order of the Red Blade. I
