Atalus the Stone Scroll

4207   Wanders Galfin and draws the maps.   He is constantly scribing the major events of history.   He leaves the documents in Zoa.       Atalus of Brugar bears the Stone Scroll, a relic older than most clans. He carries it strapped to his back, the weight both weapon and duty. When he speaks of the Harrangradaan, all fall silent—the words of history carry more weight than any sword.   Atalus of Brugar bears the weight of history on his back—literally. The Stone Scroll, sealed in a cylinder carved from a glacier’s heart, has been passed down through his line for generations. It records the lineage of the Harrangradaan, the living history of Zoa, etched in scripts that shimmer faintly beneath torchlight. In battle, Atalus wields the cylinder as a hammer, his strikes slow but devastating. Between fights, he unrolls the scroll and adds to its tale with a patient, deliberate hand. To speak with Atalus is to feel time itself judging you. He has the eyes of one who remembers every name that has left footprints in the snow.
