B-1 Battle Droid
The standard Battle Droid of the Confederacy, the B-1 was a cheap and simple droid unit capable of limited independent thought and autonomy. They were viewed as expendable and would overrun their enemies through sheer numbers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humanoid with long narrow faces and thin limbs, their appearance is similar to that of a skeleton.
All units have a built-in backpack that contains communication equipment.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Onboard power supply is not powerful enough to keep the droid running at full power and requires the unit to periodically shut down to recharge its batteries. The batteries are long lasting enough that the droid is capable of lasting an extended period of time.
