The Bounteous Lord

The Bounteous Lord is the god of plenty. Once an agricultural deity, he lost that role to the Horned God and is now a god of wealth, plenty and industry.

Cult of the Bounteous Lord

The followers of the Bounteous Lord dress in purple and gold, decorated with ornamentations and accessories in the form of wheathsheaves, crescent blades and other trappings of the agricultural domain their god surrendered.
  • Temple: Order of the Gilded Chain - The priests of the Bounteous Lord are the trreasurers of the Cult and Church. They are often despised for their finery and comforts, but aside from the ornaments which they wear to honour the Lord of Plenty, they are no richer, on average, than any other temple clerist.
  • Cloister:
    • Order of the Account - The communities of this order keep the physical coffers of the Church. Their cloisters also protect the wealth of private donors, who make contributions to the order in exchange for protecting a larger part of their property.
    • Order of the Redress - The communities of this order are dedicated to good works, opening the outer cloister and offering regular meals for the hungry.
  • Mendicant: Order of the Gleaner - Clad in simple robes and each wearing a single, small gold chain or braid, the hounds of the Lord preach thrift and charity, and privately provide fiscal advice to those without access to a formal education.
  • Martial: Order of the Golden Shield - As the Lord's cult tend the wealth of the faith, their martial members are the custodians of that wealth. They are dedicated to protecting the vaults of the Church.
