Gaira

Gaira. From beyond, it looks like a colorful world. Green continents and islands, white snowy caps, red sands, and oceans that shift from pale lavenders and greys to deep indigo and plum.   But like many colorful things, they are a warning of danger. The land itself is high in metals. Iron sands rust by the beach, lead rocks jut treacherously from cliff sides and nigh unmovable adamantium pebbles sit in wait to stub your toe.   Magic lives in the world, but not in the manner of wizards and sorcerers. Poor children hunt for fairies at night in the hopes of making a wish. Gypsies can tell you your future, but they can turn your future rancid if you mistreat them. Men can become monsters if they shun their own humanity, or they can sell it to a devil in noble's clothes.   And in Gaira, one girl born from unfavorable circumstances runs away to experience it all.
