The Expedition

After inciting a near race riot in the crowd, the Gau'Sharan Raiders choose to enter the jungle at the myconid entrance. They land in the Cordybog Jungle; Skylark & Kennifer take 4 damage from a rough landing, while the ducks land in a pond. They find their way through the nature as numerous creatures close in. They soar, but are pursued by Viper Wolves.

Quaxley got pooped on by Kennifer, but dodged Skylark's turd & proceeded to unsuccessfully diss him.

• Kennifer: wiffs a talon, but deals 5 poison/halo damage to Viper Wolf 1 (34/40) with Spreading Spores ability
• Skylark: swoops down to hit the Viper Wolf with a hammer, dealing 28 damage (6/40).
• Viper Wolf (4): Ambush Skylark for 10 piercing damage. Viper Wolf 2 takes 4 spore damage (36/40)
• Mistral: Spears Viper Wolf 1 takes 5 damage trident/2 lightning (Skylark takes 3, Viper Wolves 3-4 take 3 (37/40) Viper Wolf 2 takes 3 (33/40), Viper Wolf 1 dies)

Round 2

• Kennifer: Cure Wounds (1st level) on Skylark for 8 HP
• Skylark: Quicken Spell (2 sorcery) on Booming Blade (cantrip), then smacks Viper wolf with a hammer for a nat 1 & a nat 20; 1st level Divine Smite. 21 total, then yams for 17 damage to kill Viper Wolf 2. Viper Wolves 3 & 4 run away.

Aftermath

• The gang rests, taking turns on their watch
• Mistral grabs three samples of fungi; one bulbous, one tentacled, and one fluid. Can spend time during his rest identifying the species (Nature or a harder Investigation check)
