Elemental Titan
In the days before the Gaioforce Extinction, the Titan Gods created elemental titans from the magic & essence of Gaion (water, earth, fire, air). In their war against Gaios, Aurovi & Denothis created titans out of their own elements:
1. Gaios created Water (w/ ice variants), Earth (w/ magma variants) Fire & Air (w dust variants) Titans
2. Aurovi created Light & Life Titans.
3. Denothis created Shadow & Death Titans.
Many of these titans were destroyed in the conflict, while the remaining were claimed by Aurovi (life, light, water & air) & Denothis (death, shadow, fire & earth), left to wander their respective planes of existence.
In the first battle of the Elder Wars (inciting incident), Aurovi & Denothis were locked in a climatic duel in the cosmos, present to all on Gaion & the Five Realms. In a catastrophic explosion, the Elder Gods destroyed each other, which cloaked Gaion in an evershifting cycle of divine light & darkness for the entirety of the Elder Wars, as well as binding the forces of light & darkness into the arcane weave of Gaion. Their other domains (life & death) & the Five Realms became the principal focus of the war between the Ascension Gods & their pantheons. During this war, the pantheons used their parent’s elemental titans, but also created new titans from the magic & essence of their planes:
1. Hytheron used Air Titans & created Celestial Titans.
2. Akana created Eldritch Titans; also used Water Titans
3. Thatos created Abyssal Titans; also used Fire, Earth, Shadow & Death Titans
4. Cyr created Infernal Titans; also used Ice, Shadow & Death Titans
5. Dahli created Fey Titans; also used Light & Life Titans.
While most titans fought in the Five Realms, some were sent on important offensives in the material plane, usually to cause a general cataclysm/wipe out a society. By the end of the Elder Wars, the titans were either destroyed or taken back to their home plane, which was a condition of the Divine Accords
