  There are some days when I miss the chaos of the "Gigadragonomy", as the gods have dubbed it. The constant tests of my skill, the medical advancements I created by learning from the enemy, and even their own biological tactics.

8. Ouima Rot

  A particularly nasty disease created by those oversized humanoids. Though, if I may admit so, this disease fascinates me almost as much as it terrifies me. After witnessing its terrible effects on my brethren, I finally acquired a sample of the virus without infecting myself. I learned that once entering a Forest Dragon's bloodstream, the virus infects our magic-bearing cells and corrupts our own poison magic, turning it against us and slowly poisoning our bodies until eventual death. To turn a dragon's own magic against them is absolutely mystifying to me, I thought it impossible until now. Hence why I've named this devastating affliction as Ouima Rot, as only the Forest Goddess Giant herself could be capable of transmuting such a virus.   After testing the affliction on my volunteers, it appears that only Forest Dragons and their dragonborn followers can catch this extraordinary illness. My test subjects who were unfortunate enough to fall into this category died between a few weeks to a few months, depending on their age. I estimate that even an ancient dragon of my kind would fall after four months at most.  

Cure

  I believe that the following ingredients could be combined to create a cure for this illness:  

1. A vial of blood of a Reaper Dragon. The entire blood supply of a Reaper Dragonborn will also suffice
2. A sample of Forest Giant organic material (blood, bones, etc.)
3. An ingot of draconic gold from the mines of Vas Dregas
4. Forge the above ingredients into a potion with the heat of a volcano from Maku's Landing

It's amazing what the unhindered study of draconic biology can do to evolve one's knowledge. I've discovered several ways to heal or transform the draconic body:      

1. Share Draconic Essence

• 2nd level transmutation
• Casting time: 1 minute ritual involving all targets
• Duration: 1 hour
• For the duration of the spell, the caster shares their own draconic essence (or the essence of another participant of the ritual) with all participants. Beneficiaries possess resistance to the dragon essence's damage type and can add 1d4 of the associated damage type to one melee or ranged attack per turn.

2. Reptilian Regeneration

• 3rd level evocation
• Casting time: 1 Action
• Duration: instantaneous
• The caster speaks some incantations in Draconic and emits a wave of magical draconic energy, either at a target within 30 ft (can be multiple if clustered within 10 ft) or in an AoE of 20 ft centered on the caster. All creatures affected regain 3d8+spellcasting mod if they are reptilian. If a creature is not reptilian by nature, but possesses draconic qualities (ex. can speak or read/write in Draconic), they receive half the rolled HP.
