Dark Tidings in Ly'tel Part 2: The split up
Gough is dead. His body is lying in his bed, and blood stains the sheets.
Single blow, directly into his solar plexus. DC 15 determines it was done with a rondle dagger.
Amongst his gear is a small pouch of 25 platinum pieces marked with elvish insignia.
Found pinned to his gravesite is the following note:
To whom it may concern, Contracts are made to be fulfilled. Despite taking our money, this cretin chose not to take the life he was designated.Gaeleath Thezeiros: The Representative from Marnain. The party is divided into two groups, one exploring the catacombs beneath the ruined temple of Sehanine Moonbow, to prevent the many dead within from falling under the sway of Orcus, and a second to scout a warcamp and the first signs of leadership amongst the undead. Church: The church to Sehanine is a humble affair, a vaguely cross shaped building, four wings surrounding a large circular courtyard. In the courtyard, there is a a great mass of willow trees, carefully encouraged to grow together to form a large spiralling trunk. Old offerings lie at the base of the mass of joined trees, and the smell of dried flowers and old incense lies in the air. The only structure in this courtyard is a small alcove to the south, with a door of pale wood that seems still growing. North East Wing North West Wing South East Wing South West Wing The party successfully cleanses the catacombs and met Galagash, the guardian of the shadowfell gates within the Lytä forest, and agreed to help him defend the gateway against the corrupting influence of Orcus and Ogremóch The party will have the assistance of two Veteran warriors of the 4th Legion, Alstia and Melecore, as well as a shadow elemental. All of those that participate in the fight will receive a shadow mark, which will make some creatures of shadowfell and some unseelie fey less likely to attack them (Counts as a having Sanctuary DC 15 cast on them) They will be facing a considerable threat, but will also have considerable support. I must keep in mind that they are not entirely A Boneclaw, guarding a Bodak. A great-crystal, a Maurezhi with some extra spice A deathlock, and a 4 wights. The following conversation will go down as they approach: Great-Crystal: "The prince is growing impatient. How long will the armies linger here?" Bodak: "The prince is always impatient. My Hierophant is nearly finished with his experimentation. He will leave the conquest of the city in the hands of Gaiel. But that is of no concern to us. Our task will remain the same regardless." Great-Crystal: "It may be the same, but will it still be necessary? Many such places have been prepared. With the march of the army, and the fulfillment of the bargain, why would more be required?" Maurezhi: "More feasting. More bodies. More mouths to feed on the enemies." Bodak: "More of your ghouls will be a welcome addition yes, but there are greater reasons to control the gates than mere numbers. There are darker things to draw from the depths of shadow. And greater reasons for controlling passage. Your prince will have more instruction for you once all is prepared." Traps have been set up in the beginning, meaning the enemies will be alerted from the get go. May prove more of a problem having them full alert prior to entering the crypt but we shall see After this considerable fight, preparations will be made for the infiltration. The other two may be tasked with something else? That'll give equal xp value? Perhaps a raid on a group just outside the city supported by Alstia and Melecore? The infiltration will be a part tracking, part infiltration. We will try a turn based stealth mission very briefly, to see how fun it is.
So we took his.Sorry for the inconvenience,Warm regards, The Krypteia Office
