Tollarie
Tollarie is both the name of the kingdom and its people. In order to resolve the damage struck by the Cataclysm, the island of Tollarie was ripped out of the earth itself and set afloat in the air, coupled with a constantly-open portal to the Elemental Plane of Water. Over the ensuing centuries, the mooks dwelling on the island have had their bodies so saturated with the magical exposure from this portal that they began to develop strange traits. Some merely have unusual coloration and webbed feet, others take on more distinctly piscine appearances depending on their level of exposure.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Generally speaking, the standard for beauty is a mostly human appearance with few mutations that do not interfere heavily with the face or effect the overall silhouette. Some mutations have an attraction to them, such as particularly colorful or glittering scales or skin, or hair that always has the appearance of flowing and floating under the water, even while on dry land.
Gender Ideals
The Tollarie are a largely egalitarian people that educate both sexes and have women in important business and political roles, up to and including the monarchy.
