The great Barrier
The great Barrier is a Magical shield constructed by the Myst Elves on the far western continent as a safety measure against the Constructs, which had become a massive threat to the Elves.
The Barrier was made up of shimmering, rainbow-colored energy that formed a massive dome over the entire country.
At first, the Barrier was a marvel to behold, with its constantly changing colors and mesmerizing patterns. However, as time went on, the Elves began to realize that the Barrier had a few... quirks. For one, it had a tendency to attract birds, which would often get trapped inside and cause a racket. Additionally, the Barrier was known to interfere with magical spells, causing them to go haywire or fizzle out entirely.
But despite these quirks, the Barrier proved to be incredibly effective at keeping the Constructs out. It was a constant source of amusement for the Elves, who would often gather at the Barrier's edge to watch the Constructs try and fail to break through. And as the years went on, the Barrier became a symbol of the Elves' resilience and ingenuity.
In fact, the only thing that the Barrier couldn't protect the Elves from was their own boredom. But that's a story for another time.
