Guild of Theatre

Structure

The leader is the one that receives all job requests for any type of performance and designates who goes where and how much they'll get paid. The Leader is so named Talent Advocate.
Under the Talent Advocate is the Drama Teachers. They teach skills, tricks and music to the regular members of the guild. The Drama Teachers gather materials to teach others, and when able they will recruit more members.
Under the teachers are the performers, the regular guild members.
There is a heirarchy among the guild members based on skill level and time spent in the guild. This way even a highly skilled member who just joined won't be set back and someone who grew up in the guild but isn't highly skilled won't get too high and mighty.

Culture

Members firmly believe you must find the fun in the pain. That even when something has been destroyed there is beauty. And above all, sorrow goes hand-in-hand with happiness. You cannot have one without the other.

Public Agenda

Bring joy to the far reaches of the world through music, drama productions, jesters, and other attributes of the like.

Assets

The talent advocate handles the treasurey which is used to pay the members who accept jobs, to pay for any teaching materials needed, and for general upkeep and repairs as needed.
Every now and then when travel is needed the talent advocate will set up any boarding and modes of transportation as needed. Some members have their own transportation or boarding so it instead goes straight to the performer.
The guild does, of course, have musical instruments and a multitude of costumes as well.
There are many practice rooms for everything, and boarding rooms as well.

Religion

The guild worships Malshuma in all they do.

Infrastructure

The main building has plumbing, heating, and air. A main theatre area with stadium seating, back stage area, boarding rooms and offices. There's even a small stable next to the main building.

Mythology & Lore

The story of Malshuma's Lost Child is well known by all who enter into the guild and is very important to all performers. After that there is many stories throughout history that is used for inspiration, including those of the champions of other Gods.

Worship

Before performances, they send a prayer for good chaos and luck.
Practicing often is also a form of worship
Pranks are often done in Malshuma's name.

Priesthood

The Talent Advocate is the equivalent to the high priest, and is often a bard or cleric, but not always, and called by Malshuma in dreams to take a higher step in the guild.

Granted Divine Powers

The Talent Advocate is granted a silver tongue to deal with negotiations and the teachers given knowledge of mastery levels; all thanks to a deal made with Infyudka.

Political Influence & Intrigue

A Kingdom that has performers of high quality, from their own subjects, is a mark of a happy populace.
