The Divine's Final Prophecy

The Divine of the Church of the Holy Trinity was granted her final prophecy mere days before she took her last breath. The prophecy would determine the future of the entire empire and church as a new era was dawning. Only a select few bishops, the 3 cardinals, and the original Wings of the Phoenix heard this prophecy and each crafted its own interpretation of it causing a massive rift within the church hierarchy.

The Divine's final Prophecy before her death has only been heard by a select few leaders of the Church of the Holy Trinity and the original Wings of the Phoenix. This caused a civil dispute,for the prophecy was being spread in 2 different ways. A few bishops accounted the Divine's prophecy as:   "When the world has seen it's darkest day and evil's final triumph over good seems assured, an army of light will rise in the west led by a powerful hero adorned in holy light. The hero will take the form of a bird and cleanse the land of evil with his mighty blade. The people will worship this hero as their prophet and crown him as their next Sovereign. His rule will be absolute, for he will rule over both the empire and the church. The old gods will be gone from this world, and this winged Sovereign Prophet will lead the world into new era as the One True God."   However the Episcopus have labeled these men as devil worshiping blasphemers who are servants of the Vatican's old enemy, Remanon, and that this is in fact not the Divine's true prophecy. The Episcopus proclaimed the prophecy as:   "When the world has seen it's darkest day and evil's final triumph over good seems assured, an army of light will rise in the west led by a powerful hero adorned in holy light. The hero will take the form of a bird and cleanse the land of evil with his blood. This bird will shower the Vatican with the blessings of the gods before his passing and the church will lead the empire into a golden era in the warm embrace of the Holy Trinity."   No one can know for sure which of these 2 statements is the Divine's true final prophecy, but Leon the Conqueror heard from the Divine herself that she believed that either Christopher Gaius, Ranon the Phoenix, or Leon himself was the hero she saw in her vision. Not even she was 100 % certain what the gods were trying to tell her....
