The kingdom of Evintia goes to war with the kingdom of Travenhall. Draygonix seizes power from the Traven royal family and defeats the Evintians with the aide of the Avelornians. This was the first step towards Travenhall becoming a true empire.

After the dust had finally settled following the chaos of the Great Happening, the kingdom of Travenhall took steps towards recognizing Avelorn as a sovereign state and not just a collection of salamandran and gnomish tribes. Traven King Rickard Gaelen noticed how well the Avelornians had adopted a very civilized human-like culture under their king, Lizane le Ciel. King Rickard's grand wizard, Dagon, advised the king to sign a treaty of alliance with Avelorn solidifying the country as a legitimate kingdom.
