The Fenkrana Academy for Vallant Youth

Following the great tragedies that occurred during the Seventy-Sixth Grand Duels, where helpless children were put against bondbearers and lost their lives, the elven ex-duelist and instructor at the Rosen Guild, Arytha Fenkrana split and began the Fenkrana Academy for Vallant Youth. The institution quickly gained traction amongst the elves and grew to become the most popular Vallant school in all of Gaia Irindor. However, the Guild of Mercy has repeatedly criticised them for uncouth practices such as beating and starving and even accused them of bondstealing, which Arytha repeatedly has denied for the past century. The academy was initially located in Ars Ivasle but relocated to Azisha after fires repeatedly ravaged the grounds.
The school currently enrolls up to Circle Seven (ages nine to sixteen in the Universal Age Scale) and is part of the few academies to still restrain bonds, in order to 'keep their power in check'. They offer classes tailored to Vallants and also those that a normal school would teach, such as basic writing, reading and history. Their current teachers are Kendel Yinsatra, Hycis Yinsatra, Adran Winterbrook and Chia Riv, all of which have been awarded and praised by various guilds of education.
The Academy is currently rivaling the Institute of Vallancy, which has more modern and fair treatments for it's students and far better grade turnouts, but lacks the Academy's younger acceptance age and normal school classes. Nieven Alen, the ex-co-headmaster of the Academy, got into a heated dispute with Fenkrana and left for the Institute of Vallancy, leaving them short on teachers and workers. To spite him, Arytha sued him for bondstealing and won, despite it being her who was in possession of the bonds originally. Suspicions are being raised that she framed him.
Most students who leave the school wind up soldiers or working low-income jobs, rarely landing a career that would utilize their Vallancy. However, premature deaths due to offensive magic has gone down drastically, but there has been a slow rise in premature deaths due to bonds suddenly dying on the premises of the Academy. Arytha and her teachers are puzzled by this, and even the adults aren't safe- half of Nieven's departure was his worsening health he blamed on the school. In the past years deaths have spiked and Fenkrana has called in multiple doctors to the grounds to help.
As of the present day, the Guild of Mercy has it under close supervision and the Irindor Post have been giving neutral reviews, suggesting that it may be past its glory days. The Court of Azisha has been threatening to close it down if it cannot control the deaths. Despite this, it still garners hundreds and even thousands of new and returning students each year.
