Transfiguration {Feat}

History
Transfiguration was developed alongside the discovery of Arcane magic by the gnomes closest to Fellen Thunderdust. By using Neutral Essence one can exam objects and alter aspects of them by following the laws of equivalent exchange. It’s fusion ability gave birth to the wand and staff industry that booms throughout the magical communities across Gaia and when combined with Enchanting allows one to move enchants between objects, as long as the receiver has an appropriate gem.Generally Transfiguration is used by those seeking to experiment and thus has been a huge boon to almost all mages.

Mechanics
Experimentation
The core practice of Transfigurist and what most spend their time doing. By using their spells to toy around with physical objects or even essence, in different amounts, different forms and with different components various outcomes can occur, especially when enchanting is involved. The unpredictable and dangerous nature of these experiments is why many mages learn and study within schools or guilds, fledgling protection wards prone to failure.Transfiguration allows for magical experimentation roleplay, especially when combined with other magics or feats. When conducting experiments it is highly recommended to do it in the presence of an LT or if unable to do so, screenshot and sent to an LT. Any number of things can happen and by using these spells in conjunction with other things new things may be discovered.

(T2) Adept Spellcaster | 2 Months | 15 Essense At Maximum
(T3) Expert Spellcaster | 4 Months | 20 Essense At Maximum
(T4) Master Spellcaster | 6 Months | 25 Essense At Maximum

Magical Abilities
As a general rule of thumb, the larger the object the more emotes are required to affect it. For every increase in size an additional emote is required. For example, objects that can be physically held may require 3 emotes to change but a 1 cubic meter object requires 4 emotes.[ Examination ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: Like the name implies, Examination allows one to reveal the properties of objects by enveloping them in essence and then, prodding, pocking, measuring, and dissecting the object. By then returning some of this essence to themselves the Transfigurist may learn what the object is composed of.Mechanics: The greatest challenge to examinations is size. A Transfigurist's ability to extract information from larger and larger objects grows with their skill.
The revealed information contains durability, melting, boiling and freezing points (in turn its average temperature). Chemical properties such as but not limited to, volatility are also revealed.
Transfigurist versed in metal work will find they can deduce metals.

[ Change Color ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can change the color of objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to change the color of larger and larger objects grows with their skill.

[ Change Shape ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can change the shape of objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to change the shape of larger and larger objects grows with their skill.

[ Change Temperature ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can change the temperature of objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to change the temperature of larger and larger objects grows with their skill.

[ Change Density ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can change the density of objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to change the density of larger and larger objects grows with their skill.
The Transfigurist may compress/decompress an object making it up to 50% denser/50% less dense than it was before, though decreasing/increasing its size by the factor its density was increased/decreased, as well as making it heavier/lighter. For example, making a gold ingot 50% less dense will make it 50% weaker, yet it will also become 50% bigger and 50% lighter relative to it's previous size.

[ Change Position ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 3+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can change the position of objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to change the position of larger and larger objects grows with their skill.
The Transfigurist may choose an object within their range and use their essence to freely move it through space. The fastest an object can ever move is as fast as a paper airplane but as a rule of thumb, the heavier an object, the slower and more difficult it will be to manipulate. This spell's value lies mostly in lifting small objects with incredible ease for a well studied Transfigurist.

[ Fusion ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 4+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can fuse together objects. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to fuse objects of larger and larger sizes grows with their skill.
The outcome of the combined inputs may not exceed three cubic meters in total volume. Like all Transmutation spells Examination must have been casted on the components to be fused beforehand at least once by the Transfigurist. Although melding a couple metals into an alloy may be simple for aTransfigurist to figure out, complex processes, such as fusing many components into something like a clock will require the Transfigurationist to know how the process works entirely.

[ Fission ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 4+ | Essence: 5 Desc: A Transfigurist can split objects into their base forms. This follows the same rules throughout all Transfiguration spells, equivalent exchange must not be violated.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to fuse objects of larger and larger sizes grows with their skill.
Like all Transmutation spells Examination must have been casted on the combination beforehand at least once by the Transfigurist in order to be able to separate it. Although separating metals from an alloy may be simple for a Transfigurist to figure out, picking apart complex constructs such as crossbows or clocks require the Transfigurist to have a good understanding of how the object is put together.

[ Magic Compatibility ]
[ Move Enchant ]
Rank: 1 | Emotes: 4+ | Essence: 6 Desc: When combined with Enchanting, Transfiguration allows one to grasp and rip enchants from gems and place them onto other objects. Whether the enchant works or not in its new home depends on the enchant itself.Mechanics: A Transfigurist's ability to fuse objects of larger and larger sizes grows with their skill.

Summary
Transfiguration was originally developed by Arcanist. It is employed by casters of magic seeking to experiment with the aspects of the universe. The magic involves examining things first then using various alteration spells to manipulate them. A Transfigurist's abilities are mainly non-combative.
