Restless Raiders

The Restless Raiders are a pirate crew led by the Goddess Calippa. They are the oldest pirate crew in the world, terrorizing the seas since at least 1300 RC. Due to their captain’s godhood, the pirate crew continues to remain united even over the span of centuries, much to the dismay of the coastal societies that are their main victims.  

Pirate Queen Calippa

  Over the course of more than 500 cycles, the Restless Raiders have had many members, all united by their goddess-captain Calippa. Due to her seemingly eternal reign over the high seas, Calippa is also referred to as the Pirate Queen or Pirate Goddess.   The origin’s of the Pirate Goddess are unknown and it is unclear how exactly Calippa reached ascension and godhood. Some speculate that her godhood stems from a curse, others argue that it was her sheer desire to to cause terror that led to her ascension. Whatever the case may be, Calippa has continuously kept her captaincy of the Restless Raiders, leading many generations of crew-members.  

Strength

  The Restless Raiders are a cruel and menacing group of criminals, that do not shy away from even the most heinous deeds. The current size of the pirate crew is estimated to be around 1000 to 2000 members, divided into several fleets and areas.   The Restless Raiders are dangerous and extremely powerful, not only due to their size, but also thanks to the many exceptionally powerful fighters and mages within their ranks. Unlike many other Gods, the Pirate Queen herself often descends to lead her forces on important or grand raids. While this does make her vulnerable to be killed in battle, fighting and defeating a battle hardened Goddess is a seemingly impossible undertaking.  

Location

  The Restless Raiders have many bases on land, some more hidden than others. Most notably, the pirate crew have a large city-like base on Westra that also serves as their main seat. In return for protection against the Thrythian Naval Empire and the sparing of their own population, Westra allows the Restless Raiders to use their land to serve as the pirates’ headquarters.   Other than the main settlement on Westra, the Restless Raiders have known settlements on Carrasca, Goya and the Lawless Lands.
