Pearlberries are a form of edible berry that grows far north of Gand in the colder climates. They are small and round in appreance with taut white skin and a pink blush towards their stem, although the berries themselves are virbrant they are often hard to spot as they are caped in limp brown leaves that blends into the folliage. In the warmer months of Aer- the wet and warm season the vines sprout vibrant pink flowers that are papery to touch, peppery in taste and smells of forest rot. The berries themselves have a pale pink flesh that has an initial sweet citrus taste and a sour bitter aftertaste, it also has the unique trait of making one's tongue tingle and turn a brighter shade of pink.
Peralberries are not hard to find in the wild of the forest particularly writhin the tundra, but they are enjoyed widely by many people across Gand and so are grown commercially in orchards, Pearberries are one of the biggest exports of Wintrow where the climate is more reliably cold yielding more berries.
