Peppard
Burning Whisker Florabeast
First found deep in the jungles of the southern Columbian continent, this Florabeast has spread to cultures and climates across the world, and made an indelible mark on many of them.
With a shiny coat that comes in many colors, ranging from red to orange to yellow, a Peppard stands out in all but the darkest places. The ruff of calyx petals that clings to their neck and shoulders is always green, however, reminding those encountering it that it is still a Florabeast.
Many rumors abound that Peppards are able to breathe fire from their mouths, and while that is not accurate, it isn't entirely inaccurate either. Mature Peppards can and will exhale a potent vapor that will irritate the eyes and lungs of any animal that it contacts, and can even aggravate the sensory organs of other Florabeasts. This makes them highly prized for defense and security, with breeders selecting the most powerful specimens to create ever hotter Peppards.
