Muleein
Weedy Burden Florabeast
While new Florabeasts are always being discovered and cataloged by zoobotanists, there is evidence of their existence throughout the history of the peoples and cultures that they have existed alongside. Not so with the Muleein, which is a product of the gift of creativity bestowed upon mankind.
The tale is told of a Florabeast breeder that had planted a Canterose bush near a Donkeylime tree, and through the miracle of creation, a new beast sprout arose that was unplanned. The sprout matured into a Muleein, a beast possessing the strength of a horse, the endurance of a donkey, and hardiness of the mullein that had been in bloom nearby.
Muleein are covered in a thick covering that nearly resembles fur, only bright green. The hairs on their hide are very fine and will come off if rubbed, leading to irritation in the skin of the unsuspecting petter. Blankets and saddles work fine for those planters who want to use it as a beast of burden, but without the usual rubdowns that a horse would enjoy.
