Foxalis
Cross Prowler Florabeast
With flowers that cover their backs and sides, these Florabeasts excel at stealth, frequently leading those nearby to believe that they are nothing more than a patch of the common wood sorrel that grows nearly everywhere in woods and meadows. While this assumption is not completely unfounded, such woodland travelers should not let their guard down, especially if they are a bird or small mammal.
While Foxalis do not eat the flesh of other creatures just like every other Florabeast, they have no compunctions about stalking and pouncing on just about any mobile life form smaller than themselves. This is a great boon to their planter, who can count on a steady supply of pelts and meat from a Foxalis in their employ.
These Florabeasts are also renowned for their ability to cross long distances quickly, even being able to travel overnight by storing sunlight energy in their tuber-like, yet flexible legs.
