Cloverhoof
Fodder Cattle Florabeast
As a general rule, Florabeasts do not associate with the animals that they share a form with, since their behaviors and instincts are largely incompatible. In the case of the Cloverhoof and the domestic bovine, however, both spend large amounts of their time simply standing in the middle of a grassy field, and therefore find each other's company quite amenable.
Not only that, but Cloverhoof serve an important role in the overall endeavor of cattle ranching in the New World's free territories. While rooted, Cloverhoof invigorate the grass and soil they are laying on, which improves the fodder quality for the cattle, and the Cloverhoof themselves are invigorated by the natural manuring process of the cattle. A beneficial agreement all around.
Cloverhoof largely resemble common cattle, their hides covered with leaves with at least three lobes, sometimes more. No known variety of Cloverhoof have horns. While some homesteaders have been known to plant Cloverhoof for use as beasts of burden, the majority of them are technically wild and simply follow around the cattle herds they have associated themselves with.
