Cantelope

Cantelope are the rare breed of Florabeast that have been studied almost exclusively as cultivated specimens rather than in the wild. Wild Cantelope are extremely shy and will bound away faster than any researcher's Florabeast can pursue. If it were not for the fact that naturally expired Cantelope had been found with hundreds of harvestable seeds, they might not have been cultivated at all. 

Tame Cantelope are used largely by couriers and those needing to cross large distances quickly, as they retain their wild counterpart's speed over clear ground. They also possess a curious talent of emitting a sickly, cloying musk that affects the judgement of all those around, even other Florabeasts, either causing outsiders to ignore it or look the other way.
