Einholm

Rogue, leader of the scouting division of the Xern Troop. Einholm was born into a nomadic orcish family, his mother was a human, and actually loved his father, and travelled with the tribe for close to a decade. His mother was a barbarian, and his father was the spiritual leader of the tribe, a shamanistic warlock. Einholm was named by his mother, hence the very un-orcish name.   Shortly after his birth, Einholm's mother died from a magical disease she had contracted much earlier in her life as an adventurer. She hadn't thought it was dangerous until it flared up suddenly.   Einholm, being raised by his father, and the tribe who merged with another tribe, always wanted to be a barbarian in memory of his mother, but he just didn't have it in him to charge, screaming his head off at an enemy. It was always more natural for Einholm to slink around the sides with a knife or bow.   While he continued his combat training, to at least be able to match his mother in skill, he took up a position as one of the tribes hunters.   Over the years he continued training as both a barbarian and a rogue, and eventually was recruited by a passing Margaret Savastopol who saw his skill.   During the desert run though, Einholm found himself struggling to keep up with his party-mates. This came to a head when they were blindsided by a Kalanesh Desert Worm, he found himself in a position to sneak attack, potentially saving the party a lot of trouble and danger, but chose to instead run at it, screaming his head off. The party suffered grievous wounds, and only barely escaped with their life.   Afterwards, they confronted Einholm about it, and with reluctance, he gave up on his dreams on being a barbarian to refocus on being a rogue.
