The Second Gods War
The Second Gods War started when Lucifer got out of their cage and started an invasion of Tharan, unsealing the gates of the Immaterium.
Mortals were initially surprised and were losing territory quickly until the armies of Heaven and other gods descended upon Tharan. A vicious war erupted between all armies, each fighting for the sovereignty of the world and the Immaterium.
Mortals created the Silver Guard to fight against supernatural forces and protect Tharan.
Saelen, who saw that the war could not be won without huge sacrifices, opten for another plan. She would seal the gates again, and leave agents on Tharan to expand her cults throughout the world. Once her worship became dominant, She could return and easily destroy the other Celestials.
To that end, the Angels aligned with the Silver Guard to close back the Gates of the Immaterium. Together, they pushed back the armies of Hell and sealed the gates, sending back all immortal armies to their own plane.
With the end of the war, Celestials were blocked from accessing Tharan. Only Saelen had planned ahead and left agents in her stead to carry out her designs during Her absense.
For the next milennia, her cults grew accross the whole world, and with it, her power increased. Now the most powerful Celestial, Saelen is ready for the Gates to be opened again and for the Last Gods War to happen.
