The 7 Hells

The Seven Hells are a region of Tor’Aethel divider in 7 interdependent Hells. Each Hell is ruled by its own ruler known as an Archdemon and the ruler of all the Seven Hells is called The Devil, or Prime Evil. The last, and only, Devil so far has been the Dark Angel Lucifer who ruled all of demonkind during the second Gods War.   The Seven Hells are structured one on top of the other, the top one being the closest to the Veil. In order, they are:   Kharan, ruled by the Archdemon Korsas   Dreymar, ruled by the Archdemon Vagnar   Haek’at-Nar, ruled by the Archdemoness Ominis   Laedivius, ruled by the Archdemon Xelion   Minevir, ruled by the Archdemoness Ilyana   Plaerxis, ruled by the Archdemon Loroth   Vathum, ruled by the Archdemoness Serana   The Cage. It is not technically a Hell, as it is but a space to hold the Archangel Lucifer themself. According to the Scripture, the entrance is guarded by the most fearsome and powerful of demons, The Guardian.   Only a few mortals have ever entered the Seven Hells and come back alive. One of the most notorious being Leonis McGarren, a renowned monster hunter, who supposedly fought the beast Cerberus and took one of its claws. The claw is now exposed in the Levantide Museum in Elergia.   Each Hell features its own climate and demons. According to legends, a Hell represents the mind of their Overlord.   While it is possible for demons to cross from one Hell to another, only powerful ones ever attempt so. Entering an Archdemon’s territory without proper invitation is to risk an eternity of torment for the culprit.
