The Merry Squirrel
When you find yourself at Any Port in a Storm, the code name for the Vroa'kun Islands, you must visit The Merry Squirrel Inn. Fashioned in the shape of a huge ship, The Squirrel has a tavern and bath on the bottom floor and rooms above. The proprietor Jordan Masterson and his partner Roakang Nightshadow run a jovial and well-oiled establishment.
The lovely, round halfling cook Frega Ali serves fry bread, kabobs, and fresh-baked pies made from island apples and cherries. She can be found every morning singing in the kitchen as she rolls out the dough. She has big cheeks, a tight brown bun of hair, and a warm smile. If you ask about the scars on her wrists, she'll tell you Nightshadow rescued her from a slaver ship.
