Master Tanki's Inkwell
Master Tanki Hale (tɑn-ki hɑ-leɪ) is a fifth-generation gnomish tattoo artist who runs Master Tanki's Inkwell in the eastern village of Shell-ki (ʃɛl ki) on the island of Kewan (Suvi Island) where he trains five journeymen and three apprentices at a time in the art of tattoo and body piercing. Young artists from the smaller islands train and compete for the slots, and a journeyman trained by Tanki is set for life.
