Sky Feather
The cold air wisps through your hair as you cross the tree line; gaining view of the settlement before you. A central tree sprawls upwards for at least 350 feet; spanning over the area. Throughout the height of the trunk, numerous makeshift platforms made from wood can be seen built into it. Upon these platforms sit several huts, as well as having some sort of elevator system made from ropes to gain access to higher or lower platforms. Surrounding the tree are four posts which rise to roughly half of its height, which have rope bridges connecting to the main trunk, and its floors.
The structures all appear to be similar in base design, sporting a simple one story hut made with thatched roofing, as well as ebony boards for walls. However, the some huts appear to have extremely wide windows, or are outright missing part of the wall altogether, instead, opting for a balcony, or overlooking ledge of some sort. Other than these oddities, it appears as if some of the homes have various symbols carved into them in some sort of wispy language.
Social: The social structure of Sky Feather is dominated by treasure hunters, and thrill seekers. Often, the Arakokra and Kenku here search the last chance Frontier, or other local interests for valuables. However, they are not very social, and prefer to stay within their own circles of the Town. Often, gold is nice, but treasure talks more so.
Political: The Townmaster, also known as the "Linastre", is the Tribe Master. An Owlin named Brawnen Rustuft. As well, there is an Algorathian Salutary stationed to lead the small force there.
Economic: Trade is much more preferable over payment in Sky Feather. Objects and value can be bartered, or information can also be expounded. Again, Gold is nice, but holds little respect within the town. Most people are paid for through foods, water, clothing, or other necessities.
Religious: Unlike most parts of Algorath, those of Skyfeather worship a Secondary Goddess named Napheris; the Goddess of Trade and Travel. However, there are only simple apostles who are trained in medicine which are devout to healing her worshippers.
Military: The Military is comprised primarily of a tribal malita known as the "Free Divers". They are comprised of Arikokra who fly over their targets, and pelt them with volleys of arrows or magic. Druids are also common within this group, and have their own division within the Free Divers known as the "Wildlife Warriors", who are dropped in and wild shape as soon as they hit the ground.
