Primordials

History

Primordials are creatures made up from Magic and faith. Long ago, they existed wildly throughout the land, formed off the extra magic left behind by the Great War of the Gods, but were Shattered by the Ancient Ones during the great purge.

Synopsis

Primordials are creatures that feed off of Magic within a given area-as life itself carries at least a bit of magic, this means that the biomes can be changed and restructured into what are called "Magica Climbes", where the entirety of the area is altered dramatically.    Primordials are also shapeless creatures-instead contouring as an entity with thought and language, and normally an element; but can look dramatically different with each revival. Primordials cannot truly die, as they turn back into magic upon death, only to be summoned again later.   Primordials are summoned through a mix of mass amounts of magic, and determination/faith of either one powerful individual, or a collective. Some people can even turn into a Primordial themselves, but are typically consumed by the Primordial itself in the process. However, Primordials summoned have an inherent desire which follows the beliefs of those who summoned it. They commonly also grant those who summon it extra powers such as physical strength, magical power, and more.   Primordials are not Gods, but instead, are made up of the magic left behind by Gods. Despite this, some might view themselves as above the Gods themselves, and might even rival them in power.
