Green Bellow

The cliff that you are on overlooks a large settlement below; surrounded like a bowl by other cliff walls, which give way to several cascading waterfalls that wash down behind large dome-shaped tops of the structures. Bridges of white brick, and shimmering green sphere shaped rooftops of towers reflect against the vibrancies of lush vegetation which grips along bridges, streets, and other man made dwellings. Hues of reds, blues, pinks, and purples grow from gardens placed meticulously along sidewalks, and yards; with vines hanging loosely onto aforementioned bridges, which are dampened by the currents of water that flows beneath them.   The city's layout is multi-leveled; following the flow of the falls throughout the city; with smaller-yet still impressively designed settlements lying at the lowest layer, and slowly becoming more and more grand with each elevation.

Society

Social: The city was first established by an Orcish Druid named 'Mug Ol'; and so, has a population made up 25% of Orcs, and Half Orcs. Another 25% are Lizardfolk, with the remaining 50% being a mix of Tortles, Leonin, Human, And Elf.   Political: Tribe Master Rit Gul runs the entirety of Green Bellow, with his intern; a strict Elven Man named Elliomus Aultieran. Rit Gul is old in his age, but used to be a proud warrior who lived in the Last Chance Frontier with his tribe. After a failed attempt at an assault; the original Tribe Master, in his late age, adopted him.   Economical: Fruits, and vacationers are a vital resource to Green Bellow, as well as their famous theater shows.   Religious: Most people believe in Eskaldra; the Goddess of nature, and even have a statue to her in their square.   Military: Being a large city, Green Bellow has a Captain; a Leonin named Azbur Plainswatcher, who leads a subset of high ranking guards known as 'The Pride'.

Local Wonders

Fruits: Inacary Bananas, Oldisop Melons, Great Pears, Ungrid Grapes, and more all grow within the region, and are harvested for sale within the City's limits. Each one is said to be the best fruit on the Continent, which has sparked heavy debates between Khaskal and Green Bellow in the fruit community.   Statue to Mug Ol: A 25ft white stone statue in between the stairs leading to the highest level. It overlooks the entire City, and depicts an Orc wearing a long robe with a walking stick, and a snake on his arm. There is a plaque written in Daraktan, and common.   "The Establisher of Green Bellow, and keeper of the harmony between humanoid and nature. This statue is here to commemorate his memory, as well as remind us all what we can do if we build on what we love each day, like a plant growing. Mug Ol was once a lone wanderer of the Jungle; an explorer who had an aptitude for the natural beauty of the world. He wandered for many days and nights being one with the world, until, one day, Eskaldra spoke back, and told him to build a legacy within its loving embrace. Not one to take this opportunity for granted, Mug Ol searched for many days more, until coming to this wonderous spot. Quickly, he established it as Green Bellow; a play on the term 'Green Below', as it lay within a pit of waterfalls, and the rest is history."   Eskaldra Statue: A 40 ft white Statue to Eskaldra - the Goddess of nature, harvest, and bounty. She is depicted here as a tall Orc woman with large muscles, and long hair with vines loosely hanging out of it. As well, as she carrying a tree trunk in one hand, and the head of a Demon in the other. There is normally a Priest, or some sort of believer to tend to it.   Fighting Pit: A pit where the Orcs would do ceremonious battle to appease Ozburis; most commonly worshipped by the Orcs under the name "Traglith". It is an ancient circle of stones placed in the dirt for a barrier. It now lays inside of a dome shaped structure, where a small audience can gather, and is open to the public with a bell in front of the door to alert others to a fight.

Places:

Hyper Tusk Tavern: A Tavern with a 5ft long, polished tusk from a silver boar hanging from a post in front of the shop. The archway of white brickwork and goldenwood door opens to a bell chinging. The sweet scent of nectar hits your noses as you look inside the Tavern before you. What you see is a Tavern filled with chairs and tables, allowing for all paths to be somewhat small. Chairs of black leather with golden coloration for the wood, and studded with steel sit around circular tables of that same golden hue. Rather than lanterns, it appears that plants hanging inside of bowls that are tied to hooks in the ceiling are producing a soft glow; painting the tavern in orange. The walls themselves are adorned with several belts with solid Gold Buckles and studs, as well as black leather for the strap. Portraits are also on the walls, depicting various Orcs fighting inside a dusty looking arena.   Against the Northern wall, an Orc man stands with a pile of crates while whistling a tune; placing various wines along a luxurious shelf filled with bottles. As you walk in, he turns to you all.   CoalitIIN: The Portico of this building has bright green tapestries hanging from embedded clasps. Entering through, you find yourselves inside of a room which is quite sizable; having the Eastern wall hosting several red leather sofas with a half fountain in between them. The Northern wall has a long bar made from polished and stained cedar, with a closed door behind it. The Western wall has a staircase of white stone moving to an upper floor, out of view, and a railing made from the same green metal as the rooftops. Windows along the walls have vibrant green curtains drawn open, letting most of the light from the outside cascade the area; giving life to the green carpet.   Two people are in the back; a Black Dragonborne man and a Half Elf woman who are casually chatting, until you walk in. It is then that they both jump to attention.   Gimji's General Goods: The Front Door handle is lower than expected, and opens to the smell of sandalwood incense. The General Shop is set up with 5 isles of odds and ends placed inside of shelves, with the Eastern and Western Walls having glass containers holding various jewelry, shiny stones, and other trinkets which are locked. The room is lit with lanterns, which gives it an orange tint to everything. The windows are glass, but have bars above them, that look like they can be pulled down and locked.   To the Northern wall is a Goldenwood Desk with a Goblin sitting at it; writing down something on a paper, with a door behind him that no doubt leads to a back room of sorts.   Boiling Pommel:   Cut Glass:   Sick Needle:

People:

Tribe Master Rit Gul: A wrinkled Orc with gray hair that's tied back into a pony tail, and a soft, kind face, despite his underbite tusks. Originally a young Chieften of his tribe, Rit Gul was adopted after his tribe tried and failed an assault on Green Bellow 50 years ago. He has since learned from how he was, and migrated into civilized society; yet he does worry about losing his culture. His goal is to try to meld Orcish tribal culture with civilazation.   Azbur Plainswatcher: A Leonin with bright Golden fur, with a few splotches of red, and blue eyes. that grew up in the Savannahs to the south. He found his place as the Captain in Green Bellow after fighting off tens of Orcs on his own. Arrogant, but not stupid, Azbur wishes to have his might tested as often as possible, but wishes for the safety of his Pride before his own literal pride. Azbur's goal is to use is his Pride as a special division once the war reignites; believing that it surely will.   Ern Al: An older Orc man with some scars along his body, but a bright smile on his face. Ern was once a proud fighter that reveled in the challenge of one on one combat in the Arena, and won several tournaments. He was so fast and strong that he got the nickname 'Hyper Tusk'. One day, though, he went too hard, and accidentally killed his opponent-an Elven Man named Aldamiaus. This essentially ended his career; and so, he took the winnings money and put it towards a Tavern; now doing his best to keep people's spirits up. His goal is to honor Aldamiaus by never forgetting him, and apologizing him once he meets him in the afterlife.   Althelial Bulsurath: A black Dragonborn with bright purple eyes, and burn scars along his chest and face. Once a cult member, worshipping a Dragon named Tulsirgoth, but was felled to a party of Adventurers. After his near death experience, he re evaluated his life, and decided to move on from that-becoming a book keeper in a shop. Soon after, he met his wife-an Elven woman named Xelastaria. Soon, the two hit it off, and they decided to move to Green Bellow-however, she doesn't know of his past, believing him to be originally a Guard that was wounded in the attack on Alifel.   Xelastaria Bulsurath: Deep purple eyes with deep blue hair that is cut shoulder-length, with markings on her face. The wife of Althelial, as well as a retired sorceress. They both met when she was looking for an alchemist's book, and ended up spending the entire time talking. She believes he was a Guard that was wounded in the fight on Alifel, and loves him dearly, even if she is a bit strict at times. Currently, she is finding financial gain in her idea in establishing an inn inside of Green Bellow. However, she is worried about herself becoming corrupted by it, so she tries to find a way to spend the majority of their gains-much to Althelial's disapproval.   Gimji: (Sickly Green Skin, a Big Nose, Speaks with lower lip tucked inwards, likes to make slurping sounds when he talks)   A rude Goblin that inherited his shop after his master, an Orcish Man named "Vun Il" left it in his care so he could go visit his clan in an undisclosed location. Gimji is rude, and doesn't understand much more than not attacking someone he doesn't like. Gimji was abused by his old clan, before being saved by Vun Il, who won him in a fight against the Chief. Ever since, his master has been trying to teach him right from wrong. Gimji wants nothing more than to make his master proud, and to change himself. The other towns people of Green Bellow find him annoying, revolting, or entitled, and try to avoid him as much as possible - often drawing straws to see who has to go purchase from him.   Smulg: (Olive Green, Big Floppy Ears, Smells like Iron, Speaks Very Shaky and Insecure, lot's of 'uhs' and 'ohs')   Big floppy ears, green skin, and a stumpy nose. A Goblin who was abandoned as a child, and raised himself by stealing books from sleeping merchants. After finding a book on smithing, his interest was piqued, and wished to become a forger. He is now in financial debt due to having to take out a loan in order to buy his blacksmith shop and supply, but wants to help others the way no one did for him. Smulg has traits of a feral Goblin, and occasionally snaps, but only does so when people attempt to steal from him, as he is very protective of what he worked to get. His goal is to pay off his debt, and one day, even be a hero if possible.   Karthas Urret: (Bright purple Lizardfolk Woman with pink eyes, Speaks huskily, but confident in her skills,)   Karthas came from Mud Claw after finding a diamond in the muck and killing her brother who tried to murder her for it. Unable to live with her guilt, she moved to Green Bellow, where she started her business by selling the gem. Despite her trauma, Karthas is very strong-willed, and will proudly throw hands with someone that she sees a a threat to her, her friends, or the peace of the town. Karthas made the marriage ring for Aramis, and knew him when he would spend time there, where she opened up about her past. She trusts him, but finds him a bit off. Karthas gets her gems imported from Olgeldel Mountains, or will even go to a nearby mine herself to occasionally find some gems. A practice she has been having to do all too often, as the inflated price have been cutting into her profits. Ultimately, Karthas wishes to continue her gem work, as she finds it as a source of therapy to avoid thinking about her brother.   Keller Sicklebeard: (Dwarven Male, with pointy, red beard, balding head, meaty hands, speaks in a scottish accent, but also goes from gruff to soft when he gets too excited and needs to calm himself down)   Keller is an 80 year old Dwarven man who grew up with 8 other brothers and sisters in Olgeldel. This sicklebeard clan was commonly prided on the depth of tunnels they would dig, with his father digging up to 120ft in a single night. His other siblings wished to follow in their father's footsteps, but not Keller. He, instead, wished to delve in the arts of mechanics; something that they were not approving of. At the age of 22, after 18 years of digging, Keller made a choice and left his family to go study in Leviathan. Becoming an experienced mechanic, he moved to Green Bellow to create wondrous items to bring joy to young adults, and children alike, who might need some more whimsy in their lives. Sicklebeard takes bonds very seriously, and has a strong sense of justice, but has lost contact with his family long ago.
