Cervaria Invades Deghwahr

The Cevaria empire invaded the Kingdom of Deghwar resulting in a 2 year war before a peace treaty is signed

The Cevaria empire invaded the Kingdom of Deghwar in attempt to gain the riches of the mines the dwarves possessed. The Cervaria forces assumed the Deghwahr were dependent on divine protection from their gods, but since all deities had vanished, Deghwahr wouldn't be able to defend themselves. To Cevaria's surprise, the Deghwahr were much craftier than they gave them credit for and ultimately agreed to a peace treaty after a 2 year stand off that exhausted both sides ability to fight. In the peace treaty, the town of Thornwood was given to the Cervaria empire as a sign of good faith, which cemented the deal.
